Coke Oven

A coke oven is composed of a charring chamber, a combustion chamber, a heat storage chamber, a ramp area, a roof, a foundation, a flue and so on. A coke oven usually has dozens of carbonization and combustion chambers configured one after another, separated by refractory materials. Each combustion chamber has 20 to 30 standing fire channels. Preheated gas (high calorific value gas is not preheated) and air from the heat storage room meet and burn at the bottom of the risers to provide heat to the charring chamber from the side.

According to different application area, the refractory materials as follows:

1, ramp: clay bricks, lightweight insulation bricks

2、Furnace roof: clay bricks, silica bricks, lightweight insulation bricks

3、Furnace wall: silica bricks

4、Heat storage room: clay bricks, silica bricks, lightweight insulation bricks

5、Carbonization chamber/combustion chamber: Silicon bricks

6、Furnace door: pre-assembly bricks (cordierite material)
